New Formula One Cars Not Loud Enough

This year the new 2014 F1 cars have smaller engines and are not as noisy as they used to be. Cars have moved from a V8 engine ( A V8-engine has eight cylinders) , to a smaller V6 engine ( A V6-engine has six cylinders.)

The V6 is greener but makes less noise... And I reckon If the car is lighter it would be faster or you could lose some weight from the car but have a bigger engine in the car to make it faster as well.

The man that made the new Formula One on 2014 says he’ll now trying to make the new F1 cars noisier because the fans miss the loud sounds.

He said...

“I don’t know whether it’s possible but we should make the car noisier I think.Let’s get the first few races out of the way and then maybe look to do something so we can fix the noise. We can’t wait all season. It could be too late by then,” he said.

Formula fans say the noisier the car the faster it is and you can tell that the engine is working hard.

What I've Learnt about Pewter

On Wednesday on term 2 week 3 at Tamaki College room 11 did “Hard Material Tech” with Mr Grundy. We listened to his simple safety instructions even before we came inside. “Don’t cross the yellow line because it is dangerous!“ We watched an instructional video showing us how to do our steps and video is down below. We had to choose a silhouette image from Google Images. I had to choose who I was giving it to and why. We are going to choose a silhouette picture ourselves, then print it out. It needs to be drawn onto the wood. The picture will be outlined onto the wood. We are going to take our finished outline to the scroll saw and cut it out. We will melt the pewter and pour it into the mold we made with three blocks of wood after that we scraped the pewter with the sandpaper we move to 400 grit,on 800 grit and then on to 1200 grit.
