Man Cross Country Is Hard

Preview Image

Students exhausted, teachers shrieking but they are so tired that they dawdle most of the way.

The senior students started to practise cross country around the senior block. We first started off with the seniors lining up  and the year 4s did this too. We waited for Mrs. Ginders or Mr. Reid to say “Go.” Once Mrs. Ginders or Mr. Reid said “Go!” we start running. The students ran hard until a couple minutes later they were as slow as a sloth because they were exhausted.

We ran for at least 10 minutes so we could make it to the interschool. I tried my hardest and used my strength to not walk because sometimes I walk all the time when I get use to it. I past teachers or relievers and they sometimes say to me “Go Raniera” or “There goes the best runner." But I want cross country to stop because I am getting sick and tired of RUNNING!! I hate it when I run by myself because I wanna talk so I slow down for some of the boys and start talking to them.

Lastly Mr. Reid will pick a couple of people from each classroom who try their best in running. Those students will go to the Cross Country Interschool and I will wish them nothing. Ha

T3 W9 Maths Squares and Cubes

On Friday, Room 12 was physically making squares and cubes of numbers out of unilink blocks by doing 2 by 2, 3 factors of 4 and even more. It was pretty easy, but I had to count in my head the total number of blocks to make a cube of a number and that was the hardest thing about it.
Then Mrs Golder made us make harder squares and cubes of numbers like 6x6x6, each group had to join each other's unilink blocks. The first group who did the 6-cubed was the group next to us and then we joined up with them and that's how we made larger squares and cubes.IMG_3280 me.jpg

T3 W9 My Origami

The Origami that I made myself was a winged heart. The reason why I made a winged heart was because I thought it would be like challenging to me. It took 20 minutes to make it because I had to pause and play the video while I was making the origami. I almost finished the origami and it looked perfect but I still needed a couple more steps to go. Finally I was so happy.

Who knows what was on Friday the 28th of Agust??? well obviously it was Daffodil Day.

My daffodil is very unique to the Room 12’s daffodils. People are impressed how my daffodil is and looks like. It took me  30 minutes just to make one daffodil out of paper. The first one I ripped it then I made a another one. My friend, Simon made me a stalk because I was too busy.
