A thousand birthday wishes

Last week, Bruce Sullivan from Queensland, posted a request on Facebook, asking all his friends and family to send a birthday card for his daughter Hannah — what he didn't expect was over a thousand cards!
Hannah's 18th birthday is described as a miracle by her father as she reaches this milestone. In celebration, Bruce wanted to flood her with support and encouragement in the form of birthday wishes.
The post was shared thousands of times and soon well-wishing strangers from all over the
country were sending their birthday wishes to Hannah.
Bruce described his daughter as 'beautiful and
caring' and wanted to surprise her with many birthday wishes on her special day.

On Hannah's 18th birthday a thousand birthday cards were sent to her and that only happened because her dad posted up asking for them for her on Facebook.
Now, if I got that many cards I wouldn’t even bother reading them.

DeleteHi Raniera, I like how you have written this blog post. The dad is so kind to tell every body on face book that it is her birthday. Why wouldn't you read all the cards if it was your birthday?
